Campaigns

Your traffic-generation Campaigns are not defined by a single "refering link domain."

Only Lead Spy lets you define Campaigns properly:

  • Match form fields like "How did you hear about us?" (track magazines, tradeshows, mailers, and other off-line traffic sources)
  • Refering links (use expressions, not just exact-match)
  • Landing pages (which page, or match an affiliate's code)
  • Match any number of values (e.g. any of 15 different social media services could be lumped into one "Social Media" super-campaign)
Events

Track every event that did or could make you money. Events are tied to specific visitors, not just summarized as a total. Events are more powerful than you'd expect:

  • Person spends at least 60 seconds on your site
  • Certain form is filled out -- including all the field data (e.g. an email address via any of "Contact Us" or a trial download or a newsletter subscription)

No problem! With zero configuration, you can ping our servers with your own Events. Invent your own Event "types" to group categories of Events, then tack on arbitrary key/value pairs of additional data. We'll keep it safe and visible alongside all the other lead data.

You can even use your custom data when defining Campaigns or Events.

Send us Event data using a simple web-service API from a back-end system, or you can call a Javascript method to register an Event from a web browser.

CRM Link

Link our data with your CRM system, or any back-end database.

At its simplest, just include a hidden form field called sst_visitor_id and we'll automatically populate it with our unique visitor ID. All you need to do is store that 32-character value in your back-end system or CRM and you can accurately link our data with yours.
